Challenge

Sometimes, you have to market a product that’s a little...awkward to talk about, but absolutely necessary. That’s where War Locker comes in for mixed martial arts and other full-contact sports. They needed someone to create a genuine customer testimonial for their groin protector to show the world how their new and improved solution stands out in a sea of traditional products.

Solution

I worked closely with War Locker’s CEO, Kyle Yang, to create a visual style that really represents the brand—showing off their high-end, durable products that are respected by professionals in the industry. The final deliverables for social, ads, and their website included a customer case study video, product photography, and an animated logo bumper.

Results

I’ve produced customer case study videos for years, so I’m comfortable directing non-professional actors. For War Locker, I captured a heartfelt testimonial from a pro athlete that serves as powerful social proof. The cinematic explainer video is now used across their social platforms, ads, and website, helping define their brand identity.
